Founded in 1896 by Evangeliste Turgeon, E. Turgeon Construction has been operating in the New England market as a commercial General Contractor and Construction Manager for more than 125 years. Two generations of Turgeons owned and operated the company up until 1976 when it was purchased by Frank Ducharme. Frank worked for the last surviving member of the Turgeon family, Ed Turgeon, from 1973 until Ed’s retirement in 1975.

In 1946, at the age of 76, Evangeliste retired and turned the business over to his sons. Edward remained the active President until 1976. Frank Ducharme joined Turgeon, as Vice President, in 1973. Upon Edward Turgeon’s retirement, Frank became Owner and President of the firm in 1976.

David Ducharme joined E. Turgeon in 1994. David worked on site gaining valuable estimating and planning experience. In 1997, he joined the office team and was later promoted to partner. His role expanded in 2001 to full-time Project Manager and Partner where his responsibilities include estimating, project cost analysis, contract administration, and project planning and scheduling. In 2012, David became Principal and Project Executive of the Firm.

Christopher Ducharme joined Turgeon in 1994. Chris worked on site gaining valuable estimating, building, coordinating, supervision and planning experience. In 2000, he joined the office team and became partner of the firm. His role expanded in 2004 to full-time Project Manager where his responsibilities include estimating, project cost analysis, contract administration, planning and scheduling.
